The incident, which quickly went viral, was shared on X (formerly Twitter) and has since drawn a wide range of reactions from users.

In the video, the pastor, dressed in a blue suit walked up to a woman sitting in her car and declined to accept the money she tried to give him. He made it clear that both he and God were rejecting the offering, describing it as disrespectful.

The pastor questioned the woman’s choice, saying she wouldn’t buy something valuable like an iPad with ₦30, so why give such a small amount to God?

He said, “You can’t buy an iPad with ₦30, but you want to give God ₦30?” He went on to insist that God was not pleased with the gesture.

The woman did not stay silent. She defended her action, challenging the pastor’s reaction and criticizing him for rejecting her gift.

The short clip has since sparked a heated debate across social media. Many users are divided over the pastor’s conduct, with some agreeing with his bold stance and others calling him out for humiliating the woman.
