Nigerian Girl Goes Viral for Outstanding WASSCE Result Amid Mass Failure

Emmanuella, who attends Chris International School, gained attention after a Facebook user, Gadafi Idreez, posted her photo along with her excellent results.

The post quickly went viral, with social media users celebrating her achievement.

According to the post, Emmanuella earned A1 in seven subjects, including Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Civic Education, Marketing, and Economics. She also got B3 in Mathematics and C4 in English Language.

Her remarkable performance stood out especially as it came during a year of widespread poor performance in the 2025 WASSCE.

WAEC had earlier reported that more than 60% of students failed to get credit passes in core subjects such as Mathematics and English.

While sharing her success, Gadafi Idreez wrote:

“This is Emmanuella Chidiebube from Chris International School. She made 7 A1s in the 2025 WAEC exam. Truly inspiring. May God bless her. Congratulations. Moral lesson: Girls Era.”
