Nigerian Woman Accuses Air Peace Airline Staff of Stealing Her iPad, Demands CCTV Footage
A Nigerian woman has gone online to accuse Air Peace of theft, claiming that one of the airline’s staff members stole her iPad from her luggage.
The lady, who uses the TikTok handle @abuja_beauty_essentials, shared several videos detailing what happened.
According to her, she packed her iPad inside her bag but was shocked to find it missing when she went to retrieve it later. In one video, she can be seen confronting an Air Peace staff member about the issue.
The staff member, whose face wasn’t shown, told her that she should have declared the electronic device before boarding.
Clearly angry and frustrated, the woman fired back, saying it didn’t make sense that her valuables could just go missing while in the airline’s care.
She asked, “How do you see drugs and stop them, but when it’s electronics, you don’t notice? So now they’ve taken my iPad. Is it okay to employ thieves?”
She also sent a direct message to @Air Peace Limited, writing:
“I think y’all think it’s normal to employ thieves and cover up by saying we shouldn’t put valuables in our bags. Are you indirectly saying our bags aren’t safe?”
In her comments, she expressed disbelief at how normal it seems for items to go missing, saying, “He told me it was my fault and that it’s okay their staff are thieves.” She questioned the airline’s safety measures and asked, “If my bag isn’t safe, what about my life?”
