Russian Woman Breaks Spine During Nicki Minaj Stiletto Challenge {VIDEO}
A 32-year-old Russian woman, Mariana Barutkina, suffered a serious back injury while attempting the popular Nicki Minaj Stiletto Challenge.
The challenge, which has gained attention online, involves balancing in high heels on unstable surfaces to recreate a pose from Nicki Minaj’s “High School” music video.
In a video she shared, Mariana tried to perform the challenge just a few weeks after giving birth.
She stood in heels on a risky stack of household items, a baby formula container on top of a saucepot both placed on a kitchen counter. As she squatted into the pose, she lost her balance and fell hard from the counter.
Doctors later found she had suffered a Th9 compression fracture, which is a serious spinal injury.
Mariana, who recently began her journey as a content creator, opened up about the accident, saying it was a painful reminder that life can bring unexpected tests.
