Zazu crooner, Portable regains freedom after fulfilling bail conditions
Habeeb Okikiola, also known as ‘Portable,’ has been released from Ilaro Correctional Centre after meeting the requirements for his bail.
The singer’s bail bond was presented to the correctional centre, where he was held until his bail conditions were met. He was released at 6 pm today.

Earlier today, Portable appeared before the Ijo Magistrate Court on three charges relating to assault and theft of musical instruments. The presiding magistrate granted the singer bail on the condition that he pays N300,000 and present two sureties in the same amount for the theft case. For the assault charge, he was granted bail of N500,000 with two sureties in the like sum.

The court ordered that Portable be held in the Ilaro correctional centre until he fulfils his bail conditions. The trial will begin on April 26, and the case has been adjourned until then.
