Three dogs pounced on a 2-year-old boy on Rahima Moosa Road in Phase 6 Waterloo, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, on Monday, March 18, 2024.
The Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received numerous calls from the public asking for immediate medical attention for the kid.
Officers and RUSA Paramedics were immediately dispatched and arrived at the scene around 15:03.
The boy’s legs and face had severe cuts, according to an assessment. He was stabilized before being transported to the hospital via ambulance.
It was discovered that the youngster was playing with other children on the road when three Mongrel dogs broke through a break in the fence and attacked him.

The remaining children left and told residents of the occurrence. The dog’s owner was not at home when the attack occurred.
The cops could not immediately establish if the canines had been immunised.
