Jerome Samson, a Nigerian residing in the United Kingdom, has asked other Nigerians to help their friends and relatives back home since Nigeria’s economic position is dire, with many individuals falling into abject poverty overnight.

Jerome, who claimed this in a post on Monday, May 27, said he wouldn’t have understood how awful things are if he hadn’t visited Nigeria.

Here is what Jerome said below;

“I just got back from Nigeria yesterday, my people, things are EXTREMELY bad. I kept asking ‘how are you guys surviving? Abeg do your very best to support family and friends back home if you can. I’m beyond shocked that there are people still defending the current govt,” he wrote.

“If I didn’t visit home, I would have still continued to live in total oblivion, the trip was a big eye opener.

“The flip is life threatening, people are barely getting bye I am still terrified of my 3days experience, families have been plunged into abject poverty over night.”
