3-Year-Old Girl K!lled In Tragic Dog Attack On Christmas Visit
In a tragic turn of events, a 3-year-old girl was found dead in Cincinnati two days after Christmas following an alleged dog attack.
FMTBLOG gathered that the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office confirmed the identification of the deceased 3-year-old girl, Kingsley Renee Wright, who was brutally attacked and killed while visiting family on December 27, 2024.
“I just woke up, and my daughter is de@d,” the 911 caller, Kingsley’s father, told authorities, according to audio obtained by local station WXIX. “There’s blood everywhere; I’m not sure what occurred. “I don’t understand what happened.”
After the tragic incident, the caller informed the investigator that his animals were all ”in a cage” and not loose.
Due to the severity of Kingsley’s injuries, Cincinnati Police officers who responded to the call were advised to turn off their body cameras.
“I think we’re going to need animal care to respond here to secure two dogs,” one officer said in a video acquired by local station WLWT5.
Kingsley’s bereaved mother, Gina Smith, told the station that she had no idea her daughter would be exposed to hazardous animals, stating, “I would not have allowed my baby around vicious dogs.” “Why should I do that?”
“I just want to know why and how,” Smith said in tears.
Cincinnati Animal Care said they were summoned to the home on December 27 to remove three dogs. The animals are housed at the shelter for the legally required 10-day bite quarantine period.
Kingsley’s obituary described her as “a happy girl with a beautiful laugh and smile.”
“She loved to sing and dance for her family and always saw the positive and bright side of everything around her,” the dedication reads.

Kingsley is survived by her mother and brothers, Devin and Bradley.
