S25 Ultra will run One UI 7.0 out of the box, which includes additional features. This phone has been significantly optimised for on-device generative Galaxy AI features. However, the S24 Ultra can run most of these AI functions and will receive them via an over-the-air (OTA) software update.

According to estimates, the business could release stable One UI 7.0 software for the S24 series following the global launch of the S25 Ultra in February.
