Beauty Goddess Apologizes to Priscilla Ojo Mkambala Over Wedding Comment Controversy
Popular media influencer, Beauty Goddess, has publicly apologized to Priscilla Ojo Mkambala after facing heavy backlash online over a comment she made about Priscilla’s wedding.

It all started when Beauty Goddess, who was noticeably absent at the glamorous wedding ceremony, shared a video explaining why she couldn’t attend. In the video, she mentioned that she had booked a flight and couldn’t cancel it due to “JP Whatever,” a phrase that many online users found disrespectful and careless.
Her words didn’t sit well with netizens, and she quickly found herself at the center of an online storm. Many accused her of being insensitive and making light of Priscilla’s big day.
In response to the growing criticism, Beauty Goddess took to her Instagram page to issue a sincere apology. In a heartfelt message, she admitted that her choice of words was wrong and said she never intended to hurt anyone, especially Priscilla and her husband.
“I’ve seen some of the reactions to the live I did, and honestly, I understand why people are upset,” she wrote. “It came off like I was being dismissive about Priscilla’s wedding, and I hate that it even looked like that.”
Addressing Priscilla directly, she added: “Priscilla, if you see this, I’m really, really sorry. I love and respect you so much, and God knows how excited I’ve been for your big day.”
Beauty Goddess continued by explaining that she never wanted to make the moment about herself or downplay the importance of the wedding. She admitted her delivery was poor and that she should have thought more carefully about how her words might be received.
“The way I said what I said was messy, and I own that,” she continued. “I wasn’t thinking about how it would sound, and I definitely didn’t mean it in a shady or unserious way. The last thing I’d ever want is to make your day feel less than perfect.”
She ended her apology with a note to both Priscilla and her husband:
“I have no bad intentions at all, and I’m deeply sorry to Mr. and Mrs. Mkambala.”
