An 18-year-old boy in Anambra State has shocked many after allegedly impregnating 10 girls within just five months. The surprising case has caught public attention after the State Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Ify Obinabo, shared the story during a live social media broadcast.

18-Year-Old Boy Impregnates 10 Girls in Anambra: Commissioner Seeks Help

According to Obinabo, the young man was first sent to serve as an apprentice under a master to learn a trade. However, things took an unexpected turn just three months into his apprenticeship. Within that short period, the 18-year-old boy impregnated both his master’s daughter and a salesgirl working at the same shop. This serious incident led to his immediate dismissal.

After returning to his village, the situation got even worse. In just two more months, he allegedly got eight other girls pregnant, bringing the total number of pregnancies to ten.

Commissioner Obinabo, clearly disturbed by the case, told viewers during the live video that the matter was too much for her to handle alone.

“I want advice from the public because this one is beyond my capacity,” she said.
“This boy was sent to learn a trade at the age of 18, and within three months, he got his master’s daughter and their salesgirl pregnant. After he was sent back home, he went on to impregnate eight other girls in the village.”

Obinabo added that the boy’s mother had personally come to her office to seek help. The mother, overwhelmed by the events, reportedly told her:

“Anytime I see a girl walking towards our house, my heart skips. Please, I need help.”

The commissioner admitted she was unsure what steps to take, as the situation had become overwhelming.“I even asked the boy what trick he uses to get these girls. He simply told me that he promises to love and marry them once he becomes rich.

“This is a serious problem considering his young age and the number of girls involved. That’s why I’m asking the public to help suggest possible solutions. Could it be a spiritual issue?”
