The crusade, organized by Dunamis International Gospel Centre, drew a large crowd. In the middle of the event, a representative of the governor, Commissioner for Social Duties Zayyanu Umar Aliero, publicly announced the governor’s intention to donate ₦30 million in cash to the church. The gesture was meant to appreciate Pastor Enenche’s visit and his spiritual work in the state.

However, Pastor Enenche politely declined the offer on stage, to the surprise of many. While he thanked the governor for his kind heart, the pastor made it clear that the church would not receive the money.

“We sincerely appreciate the gesture and the governor’s generous heart,” he said.
“But we will not take this money. Please channel it instead to orphanages or any other charitable institution of your choice.”

The governor’s representative responded positively, appreciating Pastor Enenche’s humility and honoring his request to redirect the funds.
