Actress Shefali Jariwala Passed Away At 42: Death Cause And All You Need To Know

Actress Shefali Jariwala, widely known as the “Kaanta Laga Girl,” sadly passed away on Friday, June 27, at the age of 42 due to a cardiac arrest at her home in Mumbai.

Her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, quickly took her to the hospital, but she was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Who Was Shefali Jariwala?

Shefali Jariwala was born on December 15, 1982, in Mumbai and became famous in the early 2000s when she appeared in the popular remix video for the song “Kaanta Laga.”

Throughout her nearly 20-year career, she was featured in numerous music videos and reality shows, significantly impacting the entertainment scene.

Her Career Highlights

In addition to her famous “Kaanta Laga” performance, Shefali was part of other remix songs, including the “Sweet Honey Mix” and “Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar.”

She made her Bollywood debut in 2004 in the film Mujhe Shaadi Karogi, which starred Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Priyanka Chopra. She later appeared in a Kannada film called HudaHudaguru011.

Shefali gained a lot of attention when she participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 13.

She also took part in dance competitions “Nach Baliye 5” and “Nach Baliye 7” with her husband. In 2018, she played a lead role in the web series “Baby Come Naa” on ALT Balaji.

Personal Life

Shefali was first married to Harmeet Singh from the music duo Meet Brothers in 2004 but divorced in 2009. She met Parag Tyagi in 2010, and after being together for four years, they tied the knot in 2014.

She graduated with a degree in Computer Applications from Sardar Patel College of Engineering and has been managing her epilepsy condition since she was 15.
