Nigerian Soldier Kills Phone Repairer Over Delayed Mobile Fix in Adamawa
A tragic incident in Mayo-Belwa, Adamawa State, has sparked anger after a Nigerian soldier was accused of beating a phone repairer to death.

According to reports from Sahara Reporters, the soldier, Lance Corporal Ahmada A., allegedly attacked 27-year-old technician Alkasum Ibrahim because his girlfriend’s phone wasn’t repaired on time.
Eyewitnesses said the woman had taken her phone to Alkasum’s shop earlier in the week. However, there was a delay in the repair due to reasons that were not made public. Frustrated, the woman contacted her boyfriend, the soldier.
Shortly after, Lance Corporal Ahmada reportedly arrived at the shop and began to physically assault Alkasum. The beating left the technician unconscious. Sadly, he later died from his injuries.

The incident has led to widespread outrage on social media and within the local community. Many Nigerians are calling for justice and questioning the misuse of power by military officers against civilians.
