Ex-SGF Babachir Lawal Tells TVC Presenter to Shut Up During Live Interview {VIDEO}

Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, has caused a stir online after telling a TVC presenter to “shut up” during a live interview.

The incident happened during a televised program on TVC News, where Mr. Lawal was invited to share his thoughts on Nigeria’s electoral process, particularly comparing the 2023 and 2019 general elections.

During the conversation, the presenter pointed out that the same administration Babachir served under during the 2019 elections is the same one that oversaw the 2023 elections. He questioned if there was really a difference between both polls.

In response, Babachir Lawal became visibly irritated and interrupted the host, saying, “Give it a break man, shut up, shut up.”

This unexpected outburst has triggered mixed reactions on social media. Some users criticized Babachir’s response, while others praised the presenter for remaining calm despite the tension.
