Footballer Dimitri Payet Set to Stand Trial in Brazil After Allegedly Forcing Ex-Mistress to Film Bizarre Sex Acts

French footballer Dimitri Payet is set to face trial in Brazil following serious accusations of psychological violence made by his former partner, Larissa Natalya Ferrari.

Payet, who once played for West Ham and recently ended his contract with Brazilian club Vasco da Gama, was charged after an appeal overturned a previous decision by prosecutors to dismiss the case.

According to Brazilian news outlet Globo, a court in Rio de Janeiro has now accepted the complaint brought forward by the Public Prosecutor’s Office.

The Dimitri Payet trial revolves around claims made by Ferrari, who said she suffered emotional abuse during a seven-month relationship with the 38-year-old player.

She accused him of forcing her to do disturbing things, including drinking her own urine and licking the floor, and claimed he manipulated her because of her mental health struggles.

Ferrari, a lawyer, has been open about her diagnosis of borderline personality disorder and believes Payet took advantage of her condition.

She shared disturbing details of their relationship and insisted her complaints are serious and based on real events. “I would never make such claims lightly,” she told AFP. She added that Payet demanded humiliating acts as proof of love.

In response, Payet has admitted to the relationship and the sexual acts but claims everything that happened between them was agreed upon by both sides.

He also said some of the acts were suggested by Ferrari herself. His defense maintains that the entire relationship was consensual and that there is evidence supporting this.

Payet’s lawyer, Sheila Lustoza, expressed disagreement with the court’s decision to move forward with the case but said the defense respects the process.

She added that now the defense will have the opportunity to present their side using all available evidence, which they believe will show contradictions in the accusations.

Ferrari’s legal team welcomed the court’s decision, calling it an important step in seeking justice.

They stated that it reflects the authorities’ seriousness in addressing cases of violence against women, no matter how famous the accused person may be.

More shocking details emerged when Brazilian news outlet G1 reported that Ferrari had threatened to reveal secrets about Payet after he refused to continue their relationship in France or cover her expenses.

Payet also reportedly said that Ferrari asked for slaps during intimacy, which caused visible marks because of her sensitive skin.

He mentioned they used wooden chairs during some acts, which may have added to the bruises.

Despite the graphic nature of the case, Payet’s lawyer emphasized that the leaked information should be viewed carefully.

She said the case highlights a woman expressing her free will, contrary to how the public may have perceived it.

As the Dimitri Payet trial begins, both sides are preparing to present their arguments. Ferrari continues to seek justice for what she calls deep psychological harm, while Payet’s defense insists the relationship was built on mutual consent.
