“I Am Living in Fear, I Want Out” – Evan Okoro Opens Up on Marriage Crisis {VIDEO}

Nollywood actress Evan Okoro has spoken out about serious problems in her marriage to Prince Chibuzor Nwachimelueze, just months after their traditional wedding.

The actress made a public plea for help, saying she is afraid for her life.

The couple had their traditional wedding on April 13, 2025, in Evan’s hometown, but things have quickly taken a turn for the worse. 

In a video that has gone viral, Evan shared that she wants to leave the marriage because her husband allegedly threatened to kill her if she tries to walk away.

According to Evan, she has already taken legal steps by filing a petition against her husband, who was at the police station when she made her public statement.

“My life matters more. The marriage is not working for me. I’m scared. Something is wrong, and I can’t stay silent anymore. I don’t know what could happen to me tomorrow,” she said tearfully in the video.

Evan Okoro also revealed that her husband has not paid her bride price, and her family recently contacted him to sort it out. However, nothing has changed, and her efforts to fix the marriage have failed.

She also warned her husband not to harm her or her family, stressing that she no longer wants to remain in the marriage.

Speaking further, the actress claimed her husband only married her because he believed she had a lot of money. 

She explained that the house they live in was built by her before the marriage, and this may have given him the wrong idea.

“He came into my life thinking I had money to spend. I thought it was love, but things started changing,” Evan explained.

Another shocking part of her statement was that they have not been intimate since their wedding. She said she reported the issue to his family, but nothing was done about it.
