Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro, Edge And Ultra Camera Upgrade Leaks: Everything You Need To Know
The Samsung Galaxy S26 will be released at the beginning of next year, and now we have even more specific information about camera improvements.

The entire family of the lineup would be receiving a refurbished camera in place of the S25 series, and it’s thrilling (via RolandQuandt).
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will have a quad rear camera with a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel periscope with 5x optical zoom, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a new 12-megapixel telephoto with 3x optical zoom.
The Galaxy S26 Edge would still have the same 200-megapixel main camera but have a better ultrawide sensor with 50-megapixel resolution. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 Pro would have the S25 Ultra-style 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.

The camera upgrades of the Galaxy S26 include the following:
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra – 12MP Telephoto and 3x Optical Zoom.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge – 50MP ultrawide camera.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro – 50MP ultrawide camera.
The Ultra model has a quad camera, and the Edge has a dual camera setup. On the contrary, the Pro can be equipped with a triple camera. It will also have a primary camera and a telephoto camera in its module, which is unknown at the moment.

One thing that Samsung should have introduced in the Galaxy S26 Ultra is a new telephoto. Another technology that has brought the iPhone 17 Pro to play with Samsung is the improved camera game. The Edge will still stand but slim down, and it needs a big push.
The Galaxy S26 Pro could have a 50 MP primary and a 3x telephoto sensor. It had been rumoured earlier that Sony supplied the primary sensor. Meanwhile, information on the changes to the telephoto camera is not yet known.
We have previously had leaked dummies of the Galaxy S26 series, and the leaked CAD renders confirm the design changes. With that said, the Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 Ultra have the potential to introduce a fold-style camera island on the back of the phone.
