Tobi Adegboyega, a Nigerian pastor based in the United Kingdom, has responded to rumours that he is about to be deported in connection with an alleged £1.87 million scam that resulted in the closure of his church, SPAC Nation.
Adegboyega responded in a video posted on Instagram, saying his fans should not panic.
He said he has “survived all sorts” in the UK, “a city well known for pulling people down.”
“So, the matter they are propagating now is the smallest of matters,” according to him.
He warned his supporters not to panic since he had survived more than any other man of colour in the UK. He further stated that Nigerians should be proud of him for surviving every persecution.
