Mercy Aigbe, Other Nollywood Celebrities Mourns With Veteran Actor Nkem Owoh Over Daughter’s Death
Mercy Aigbe, other Nollywood celebrities have come out to support their mourning senior colleague, Nkem Owoh.
Recall that the veteran lost his daughter on June 28 after battling liver cancer.
Her family buried her on August 24, two months after her death, at her father’s homeland in Enugu State.
Nkem has now taken to Instagram to express his gratitude to everyone for their love and support for him and his family.
He added that nothing is more reassuring when tragedy occurs than knowing you’re not alone.
The veteran noted that his daughter’s death was an unexpected change for him, and he is experiencing extreme grief.
He knows, however, that with the encouragement he has received, he will get through it.
“I want to thank you all for the support and love shown to me and my family. When tragedy strikes, there is nothing more heartening than knowing that you’re not alone.
It was with deep gratitude that I received your note, calls with condolences. We have seen many changes over the years. But this is a change I did not anticipate and I am feeling an acute sense of loss.
However, I know that because of your encouragement, I will get through this time. Thank you for helping to push me through my grief”.
