Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate for the People’s Democratic Party, came under fire from Nollywood legend Kate Henshaw for his remark that the Labour Party was well-liked by young Nigerians in advance of the 2023 general election.
In a recent interview with the BBC, Atiku claimed that the Labour Party shouldn’t expect to succeed because they are still in their infancy and without any organisational structure, a local government chairman, or a governor to deliver votes. Atiku said, “Let the youth vote for them,” in response to the statement that the party is well-liked by young people.

The actress tweeted; “Someone said they have no structure… Let the youth vote for them… so shall it be…!! The percentage of youth is far greater than the old and elderly… So shall it be… Arrogance is not a good quality of leadership.. Shikena”
