Apostle Suleman will be quite relieved now to hear the news that one of the suspects that attacked his convoy last year has been arrested.
Recall that FMT Blog reported with video evidence how Apostle Suleman and his convoy were attacked and nearly killed on October 21, 2022, while coming back from a trip.
According to the Nigeria Police Force spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, who made it known that the operatives of the Intelligence Rapid Team arrested the suspect identified as Yusuf Ismail Isa following a thorough investigation.

Adejobi said;
“Following an intensive investigation into the fatal attack on the convoy of Apostle Johnson Suleman, the Founder of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Auchi, on October 21, 2022, along with Benin police personnel, who were gruesomely murdered, the operatives of FIB-IRT on Auchi road comprising six people, including three of the assailants, apprehended one Yusuf Ismael Isah ‘m’, a native of Okene, Kogi State and a plumber, at Agbaraoluwa Phase 2 Ijoka, Akure, Ondo State and recovered five Ak47 Rifles, two K2 Assault rifles, 180 live ammunition and 4 suspected IEDs were found in his apartment.”
The suspect was seen on the video during an interview session with a ChannelsTV correspondent, confessing to being among those that leeched the Apostle’s convoy where three police officers were brutally murdered.
The suspect, Isa further added that it was an assassination attempt but said he doesn’t know the reason behind it. He further revealed that he wielded an AK-47 during the attack.
