Two Newly Graduating Kwara College Students To Face Disciplinary Panel Over ‘Immoral Act’ During Sign-Out

Two newly graduating Kwara College Students have been set to appear before a disciplinary panel for suspected immoral behavior during their graduation ceremony.

Sulyman Tawakaltu and Mohammed Abdul Salam, both from the agricultural department, are affected.

In a viral photo, AbdulSalam is seen grabbing Tawakaltu’s breasts during last week’s college’s final-year sign-out ceremony.

According to an internal memo on the incident, the college’s decision was based on “the display of immoral practise by two students of the institution.”

The college directed the “Students’ Disciplinary Committee (SDC) to bring the two students to book in order to serve as a deterrent to others.”

Public Relations Officer of the college, Hajia Habitat Zubair, who confirmed the development to Daily Trust on Sunday, September 10, 2023, made it known that; “The school has commenced investigation into the matter but has not made any formal pronouncement on it.”
