Why I quit my 25-year marriage- Nollywood Actress, Shaffy Bello

During a conversation with renowned media personality Chude Jideonwo, Shaffy Bello opens up about her decision to end her 25-year marriage.

The popular Nollywood actress was previously married to Mr Akinrimisi, her estranged husband. Bello reveals that the physical distance between them, with her husband residing in the United States, played a significant role in her choice to pursue a divorce.

In her own words, Bello explains, “He [my ex-husband] was a dedicated father to our children. However, I reached a point where I desired more. Constantly travelling back and forth became challenging. I realized that if I truly wanted what I desired, sacrifices had to be made.”

She clarifies that the sacrifice she refers to was not the sacrifice of the marriage itself but rather the hardships caused by the geographical distance between them.
