The late retiree allegedly had previously complained of difficulties, according to some locals.

Moreover, word on the street was that the late man had griped about how his child would routinely deduct his pension payments whenever he arrived.

Additionally, he voiced his dissatisfaction with the pension board for not delivering his pension in a lump sum.

“The man was always complaining about his Security Debartment Allowance (SDA),” a witness stated, adding that the man had been receiving payments from the federal government, which had been passed on to the defense headquarters, and then to the military pension board.

“He said the pension was being released to them meagerly instead of in bulk monthly like their junior ones, resulting to abject poverty and abandonment by his family members.”
