Seun Kuti- What Seun did was wrong! Please temper justice with mercy! – Singer Peter Okoye begs Nigerian police
Peter Okoye has made a plea to the Nigerian Police Force to consider mercy in the case of his colleague, Seun Kuti, who was involved in a physical altercation with a police officer on Third Mainland Bridge.
A video of the incident went viral on May 13th, showing Seun pushing and slapping the officer, which has been met with condemnation from many members of the police force.
The Inspector General of Police has called for Seun’s arrest. Peter acknowledged Seun’s wrongdoing and appealed for the police to balance justice with mercy.
