Reacting to the video is the spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who stated that the viral video of the mallam escorted by a number of policemen to a slaughterhouse is old.
Recall that the video caused a lot of mixed reactions among Nigerians across social media, where Adejobi responded by describing the video as ‘disgusting’, and the officers in question will be recalled for investigation.
Clearing the air, CSP Adejobi shared an update through his Twitter handle, adding that the video was recorded in 2022 and assuring Nigerians that all the officers in question have withdrawn.
